The 11th International Cuba Bridge Festival will be held from the 13th to 20th October in La Habana and Varadero. La Habana (Havana) is the capital of Cuba and the largest city in the Caribbean. The popular tourist resort of Varadero is located 140 km from the capital. Our friend Serge de Muller met the organizer of the Festival Mr Frankie Frontaura, who gave this brief interview for Neapolitan Club: “This is the 11th Cuba bridge tournament, we have already registered teams from Norway, Denmark, France, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, USA, Mexico.
We hope to have teams from Caribbean like Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Guadeloupe. The
tournament begins with a team tourney in La Havana and then there will be a pair tournament in Varadero. The welcome cocktail will be in the Tropicana Cabaret in Havana: the world famous night club.”
