We concur with the English Bridge Union, the Dutch, the Swedish and the Swiss Bridge Federations in relation to the events at the “Qualifier for World Team Championships & European Champion Cup” tournament.
Most has been said in these letters.
Summarising it is a question of honour and sticking to the principles. The players have shown remarkable courage which should be listened to.
We also strongly appeal to FIGB to reconsider and revise their stance. There is no need for an escalation in our relationships within the Bridge community.
