Dear Friends,
This week we should have been meeting in Monaco, for the 7th edition of the Cavendish tournament. We would have liked to host everyone in Monaco, like we did in 2020 during the Winter Games – which turned out to be our last ‘real’ bridge competition. Unfortunately, the pandemic crisis forced us to postpone this event. Circumstances differ across the globe, but overall we would not have been able to arrange for teams to travel and stay in Monaco for a week.
We have therefore decided to postpone the Cavendish 2021: We hope to play it at the end of May, before the European Championships, but if it is still not safe to run it then, we will move it to the end of September, which is the traditional Cavendish time.
We will advertise the official date in a few weeks so you can make arrangements for your teams accordingly. As always, we look forward to welcoming you back to Monaco, for a wonderful Cavendish 2021.
