Cezary Balicki published on the PBU website a statement concerning the allegation of cheating. Balicki discards all accusations, writing that “some people wanted to take our places in international teams and Polish national team”.
Balicki presents one board from a match against Norway during Opatija’s Europeans where he made a defensive error “because I did not know declarer’s shape”, which should be the proof that they did not cheat in defence.
He also shows his analysis of the two bidding cases where the estimation min/max made by “Bridge Interpol” is not consistent with Balicki-Zmudzinski system: In Balicki’s opinion, this should undermine all of Kit Woolsey’s materials.
