At the Phoenix NABC Agustin Madala and Steve Weinstein grabbed the 2013 Blue Ribbon Pairs. Bar Tarnovski and Dror Padon were second, and Marty Fleisher and Michael Kamil were third. The Blue Ribbon Pairs is held at the Fall NABC: this event is considered the hardest pairs event on the ACBL calendar.
Today starts the most prestigious team tournament: the Reisinger Trophy. A poker of Italian Aces take the field: Agustin Madala and Norberto Bocchi play with the team captained by Andrew Gromov; Loranzo Lauria and Alfredo Versace play with Jimmy Cayne’s squad.
