The Italian Federation (FIGB) announced the followings:
- The participating teams are five: Bortoletti, Burgay, De Michelis, Vinci and Zaleski.
- A new line-up for the team captained by Luca De Michelis: Furio Di Bello and Stelio Di Bello replace Massimiliano Di Franco and Andrea Manno.
- The First Phase of the competition will be held from the 14th to the 17th of October; the Second Phase will be held from the 21st to the 24th of October, 2021.
- If one or more teams withdraw, just a Single Phase will be played.
- If all but one of the teams withdraw, the Trials will be canceled and the President, Mr Ferlazzo, will select the open team for Bermuda Bowl;
- A team that will refuse to play even a single match will be considered as withdrawn and the players will be penalized.
