Denmark – The Schaltz team (Peter, Dorthe and Martin Schaltz, Lars – Knut Blakset and Mathias Bruun) won the 2013 Denmark Team Championship defeating in the final the Thomas Vang Larsen’s team (with Lars Lund Madsen, Rico Hemberg-Jesper Dall and Sabine Auken-Roy Welland) by 153 a 131.
France – Division Nationale I: Wilfried Libbrecht and Laurent Thuillez won the open pair championship, second place went to Jean-Jacques Palau- Pierre and Yves Guillaumin, third place to Franck Multon-Pierre Zimmermann.
Reunion Island – African Bridge Federation and District de Bridge de la Reunion announced that the 7th ABF Zonal Championships will take place in Saint Denis de la Reunion from 4 to 11 May 2013. This event will be a qualifying stage for Bermuda Bowl, Venice Cup and Seniors Bowl in Bali (16 – 30 September 2013).
Brazil – Brazilian trilas for World Championships in Bali: The team of Miguel Villas Boas (with João Paulo Campos, Marcelo Amaral, Maurício Figueiredo, Ricardo Sabbag, and Yuki Hamilton Kabe), will represent Brazil at the 2013 Bermuda Bowl. They defetaed in final the team Chagas 208 to 198.
