The latest in our series of international junior events was played on 21 June. 39 teams from 18 countries participated. There were three categories, with a little flexibility on age bracketing. We also had a couple of temporary unions of countries.
The time zones were a challenge for some. Some unfortunate players from North and South America had to get up rather earlier than they are used to, and when the event finished it was 2am in Indonesia.
