Denmark Open won the 5th German Bridge Trophy: Hans Christian Graversen, Henrik Caspersen, Michael Askgaard, Kasper Konow. They will represent Denmark in Open event at the forthcoming European Championships in Opatija (Croatia) with Dennis and Morten Bilde.
Runners up were Deutsche Senioren: Reiner Marsal, Ulrich Wenning, Ulrich Kratz, Bernhard Sträter, Kareen Schroeder, Karin Wenning. Mr Wenning is the President of the German Bridge Federation.
Third place went to Latvia: Karlis Rubins, Juris Balasovs, Ivars Rubenis, Ugis Jansons. As the Danish team, also they will represent Latvia in Open event at the forthcoming European Championships, with Martins Lorencs and Janis Bethers.
And fourth place went to the Italian team Breno captanained by Romain Zaleski with Andrea Manno, Massimo Lanzarotti and Massimiliano Di Franco.
The 2014 German Bridge Trophy was held from 2 -4 May, 2014 at the Maritim Hotel in Berlin (Germany).
