Today all the doubts seem to be dissolved. The Italian Bridge Federation (FIGB) announced the open team for the upcoming World Championship in Bali (Indonesia): Norberto Bocchi, Giorgio Duboin, Lorenzo Lauria, Agustin Madala, Antonio Sementa, Alfredo Versace, Giuseppe Failla (coach) and Gianni Medugno (not playing captain). Mr Failla is the Vice-president and Mr Medugno is the Presidente of Italian Federation. To complete the Italian delegation, consisting of nine members, there is also Ercole “Lino” Bove (Head of the delegation and trusted doctor).
The World Team Championships will be held in Bali (Indonesia), 16 to 29 September 2013; Italy qualified in Open category: thus, the Blue Team will play for the prestigious Bermuda Bowl.
