Veldhoven 2011 – Quarterfinals

 World Bridge Championship 2011, Veldhoven (The Netherlands) 15-29 October. The Round Robin has been completed: The eight top team advance to the knockout stage, consisting of the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. Tomorrow the quarterfinals will be played. Bermuda Bowl: Italy vs China, Netherlands vs Iceland, USA2 vs Sweden and Israel vs USA1. Venice Cup: USA2 vs Indonesia, England vs Sweden, USA1 vs Netherlands and China vs France. Seniors: France vs Germany, Poland vs Australia, USA2 vs Indonesia  and Denmark vs USA1.

 The quarter finals of each competition will be concluded before the start of the Transnational Open Teams, thus enabling eliminated players to compete in this tournament.

Silvio Sbarigia

 

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
