Carpentieri and Guarino won the 3th Trophy City of Rome

Carlo Carpentieri (Member of Technical Committee of Neapolitan Club) and his faithful partner Mario Guarino won the third edition of the “Tournament under the stars City of Rome.” The event was held last night, July 2, 2011, in the beautiful surroundings of the Baths of Caracalla at the stadium “Nando Martellini.” More than 300   participating pairs including some  famous  international champions: Fulvio Fantoni and Francesco AngeliniSilvio Sbarigia and Franca Serangeli, Leonardo Cima and Barbara Dessì, Emanuela  Capriata and Nino Masucci, to name a few.

The tournament was held in two session  of play of 12/14 preduplicate hands.

Carlo  and Mario won  with a rate of over 71%. They collect applause and 1,500 Euro prize.

He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
