2012 FALL NABC – Italian stars in San Francisco

As usually the strongest Italian players have been called to play the 2012 Fall NABC in San Francisco (California). The first great event has been The Mitchell Open BAM. Norberto Bocchi and Agustin Madala have got the third place playing in Jim Mahaffey’s Team; Their teammates were Sam Lev, Tony Forrester and Piotr Gawrys.

Giorgio Duboin, Lorenzo Lauria, Antonio Sementa and Alfredo Versace, winners of the past edition, Seattle 2011, have now come sixth with Michael Seamon and James Cayne, their American sponsor.

Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes have entered the field with their usual Monaco Team of Zimmermann: seventh before the last round, slipped to the 21th place.

The Victory of the Mitchell Open BAM goes to Michael Becker’s Team, with Aubrey Strul, Walid Elahmady, Tarek Sadek, Howard Weinstein and Steve Garner. Second place to Ralph Katz, with Nick Nickell, Robert Levin, Steve Weinstein, Eric Rodwell.

All the Italians Champions are waited in the most prestigious event, which will start on December 1st: the Reisinger Open BAM trophy. But who are the past year winners? The same of the Mitchell Open BAM: Giorgio Duboin, Lorenzo Lauria, Antonio Sementa, Alfredo Versace, Michael Seamon and James Cayne.

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
