In the pair tourney, that is the Top 36 in IMP format, the five leading pairs after seven out of fifteen round are the following: Eldad Ginossar and Ron Pachtman (329, Israele); Tatyana Ponomareva and Aleksandr Garkaviy (303, Russia); Viktor Mihajlenko and Nikolaj Neskoromnyj (299, Ukraina); Ehud Fredlander and Inon Liran (298, Israele); Aleksandr Matyuskin and Aleksandr Ryskin (295, Russia).
In the Teams tourney (Top 8), Monaco had taken the lead, but in the very last match they have been surpassed by Real, so slipping in second position. Last is Stoichkov, with the third Italian pair Duboin-Sementa.
Norberto Bocchi and Agustin Madala, of the team Real, are leading the Butler.
