Slava Cup 2013: The Team Real’s leading

Andrey Gromov (Real Team)The Team Real has won the Round Robin stage of Slava Cup in Moskow, the “Top 8” event. In the pair tourney, that is the Top 36 in IMP format, the five leading pairs after seven out of fifteen round are the following: Eldad Ginossar and Ron Pachtman (329, Israele); Tatyana Ponomareva and Aleksandr Garkaviy (303, Russia); Viktor Mihajlenko and Nikolaj Neskoromnyj (299, Ukraina); Ehud Fredlander and Inon Liran (298, Israele); Aleksandr Matyuskin and Aleksandr Ryskin (295, Russia).

In the Teams tourney (Top 8), Monaco had taken the lead, but in the very last match they have been surpassed by Real, so slipping in second position. Last is Stoichkov, with the third Italian pair Duboin-Sementa.

Norberto Bocchi and Agustin Madala, of the team Real, are leading the Butler.

Here the complete ranking; the first four go on to the knock-out stage with carry-over; the other four will play consolation touney.
