Montegrotto 2013: Early Outcomes

Montegrotto 2013. Victories for Aghemo-Buratti and Gentili-Uggeri. Monica Aghemo and Andrea Buratti won the first event of Montegrotto’s Bridge Festival: the National Pair “Cento in due” (One hundred in two), meaning that the sum of the pair’s age is one hundred or better. Second placed were the Austrian Renate Hansen and Andreas Babsch; third came another mixed pair, Franco Cedolin and Ida Jacona.

The National Mixed and Women Pair has been won by Luigina Gentili and Paolo Uggeri; second came Patrizia De Lucchi with Maurizio Palmieri; third were Paola Biondi and Nerio Ricci.

In fourth place there were Federica Sani with Claudio Nunes,  11th place for  Fulvio Fantoni with his wife Iolanda.

In fifth position there was another champion, Maurizio Pattacini with Laura Morselli Luppi.

The Festival goes on with the Open Pair, today and tomorrow. From Friday to Sunday will take place the International Team; the registrations are still open.

Silvio Sbarigia

 

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
