InterCity League: Round of 16

Sixteen teams have been qualified for the knouk-out stage; the winners of the three qualification Group have been Egedal (Denmark), Ascoli Piceno, (Italy), and Niš (Serbia). Ascoli Piceno is title holder, but the players are not the same; only three of the winning team have remained: Piero Millevoi, Fabio Colasante and Paolo Enrico Garrisi. These three before made a threesome playing Eugenio Chiaradia’s Neapolitan Club; now Millevoi and Colasante make a Neapolitan Club pair, whereas Garrisi is pairing up with Patrizia Lo Martire, the new entry; they are playing standard style (for now).

Ascoli Piceno (turbin) – Mali Bukovec (dfifi)

Niš (vlajce) – Wales Utd (Coch Draig)

Nikšic (vesna567) – Skopje (sakson)

City of Manchester (PTJ25) – Connacht (ciaran)

Split (acakic) – Konstanz (satyryk)

Wroclaw (rawol) – Kočevje (tolja)

Ljubljana (lakotnik) – Manchester (yo_yo)

The bracketed names are captains’ BBO nicknames. The 24 board matches will be played on Wednesday 18th at 21:0 CET (20:00 London Time).

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
