2016 United States Bridge Championship: The eight Teams in quarterfinals

usbf logo 2The closest result in USBC’s Round of 16 was Fleisher-Wildawsky: 227-219 the final, 200-211 before the last fifteen board segment. Congratulations to the winner, but also a fine feat by those who didn’t win. Another result which deserves to be noted is Nickell’s against Reynolds: 414-38 in ninety boards (opponents then withdrew). Is it a great comeback of a great team or a very bad day by their opponents? Let’s wait and we’ll see.

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
