2015 Spring NABC: Italian Stars in New Orleans

new-orleans-web-banner_3As usual, the strongest Italian players will participate in the Vanderbilt Knockout Teams, which is the major event at the 2015’s Spring NABC in New Orleans (Louisiana, US).

The Italian team Lavazza consists of Norberto Bocchi, Giorgio Duboin, Agustin Madala and Zia Mahmood.

Lorenzo Lauria and Alfredo Versace play with James Cayne, Michael Seamon, Cédric Lorenzini and Thomas Bessis. (Team Cayne)

Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes play with Pierre Zimmermann, Franck Multon, Geir Helgemo and Tor Helness (Monaco-Zimmermann Team).

Antonio Sementa plays with Mustafa Cem Tokay, Josef Piekarek, Alexander Smirnov (Assael Team).

Massimiliano Di Franco and Andrea Manno play with Connie Goldberg, Neil Chambers, John Schermer and Bill Eisenberg.


The Vanderbilt Knockout Teams will take place between March 16/22, 2015.

    Listing the favorites would not seem fair if you left out the Richie Schwartz team that won both the Spingold and Reisinger in 2004 — with Graves, Brogeland-Lindquist and Fisher-Schwartz. On form, they should be the hot favorites, though of course three in a row is too much to expect

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
