The Giardini Naxos International Tournament will be held at the ATA HOTEL NAXOS BEACH of Giardini Naxos (Messina, Italy) from June 26 – 28, 2015.
Giardini Naxos is a popular town and resort situated just south of Taormina on the north-eastern coast of Sicily (between Catania and Messina). Founded in 734 BC, it was the first Greek colony in Sicily. In the late 19th century elegant villas were built, used as holiday mansions by the upper classes. Today it is a popular area for tourists seeking both culture and beaches, that can be reached in less than one hour from Fontanarossa – Vincenzo Bellini airport in Catania.
The event includes the Pairs Tournament and the Teams Tournament.
In 2014 the winners of Team Tournament were Giuseppe Failla, Dario Attanasio, Mario D’Avossa, Riccardo Intonti. Stefano Caiti and Maurizio Pattacini won the Pairs event.
