logoVanderbilt 2013. The semi-finals will be Fleisher (Marty Fleisher, Zia Mahmood, Chris Willenken, Mike Kamil, Chip Martel, Michael Rosenberg) versus Van Prooijen (Ricco Van Prooijen, Louk Verhees, Kevin Bathurst, Dan Zagorin, Bas Drijver, Sjoert Brink), and Rosenthal-Auken.

The Rosenthal Team lines up Andrew Rosenthal, Aaron Silverstein, Bjorn Fallenius, Peter Fredin, Fredrik Nystrom, Johan Upmark. Their most illustrious victim was the number one Nickell, in quarterfinals. Auken has a richer game-bag: not only they beat the title holder Amoils, but also eliminated Monaco (after appeal). The Sabine’s Team lines up two Danes, Dennis and Morten Bilde, Sabine Auken and her American partner Roy Welland.

The Round of 16 was deadly to the three teams with Italian players still running: Monaco (Pierre Zimmermann, Franck Multon, Tor Helness, Geir Helgemo, Fulvio Fantoni, Claudio Nunes); Norby (Norberto Bocchi, Agustin Madala, Mustafa Cem Tokay, Gur Okay), defeated by Nickell by only one imp, and Cayne (James Cayne, Michael Seamon, Alfredo Versace, Lorenzo Lauria, Giorgio Duboin, Antonio Sementa), defeated by Rigal. In the Round of 64 dropped Dano De Falco and Gabriella Olivieri with Patricia Cayne, Jacqui Mitchell, Jay Barron, Adam Hickman, defeated by Mary Ann Berg.
