Montegrotto International Bridge Festival: 5th-10th March 2013. Montegrotto is next to Padua, in the Colli Euganei, beautiful hills known since the Roman Empire Era because its hundreds of thermal springs; almost all the hotels have their pool and mud bath treatments.
The Festival has three National pair tourney and the International Team one. It starts with the “One hundred in two”, a pair tourney where the player ages’ sum must be over one hundred of years (5th -6th March). It follows the mixed or women pair tourney (6th-7th ) and the open pair (7th-8th ). From Friday 8th to Sunday 10th it will take place the International Team event. The chief Arbiter is Massimo Ortensi.
It must be underlined that fees and prizes are almost the same of the last year although the organizing Committee has lost the sponsor; they are making a great economic effort which deserves to be awarded going there to play – if not to have got mud bath treatments as well.
