World Bridge Championship 2011, Veldhoven (The Netherlands) 15-29 October 2011. Another gold for France in Seniors category. In the finals of D’Orsi Bowl France defeated USA2 (165-60) who won silver medal. Yesterday yhe play-off for third place (bronze) have been played: Poland defeated USA1. So the D’Orsi Bowl’s podium is completed:
Gold to France
Silver to USA2
Bronze to Poland
In the Bermuda Bowl final The Netherlands lead with 244-189 against USA2 after 6 of 8 rounds.
In the Transnational final the Israeli Juniors lead with 55-28 against OZ Open with 32 boards to go.
