This weekend Jan van Cleeff and Roald Ramer have won the Meesterklasse Pairs, the Dutch National Pairs Championships. When the smoke cleared the margin between the winners and the runners-up, Joris van Lankveld and Berend van den Bos (World Champs Juniors), was exactly one percent.
Ramer became in 2006 in Verona World Champion Senior Pairs. This weekend’s title is his 4th national pair championship. Van Cleeff won three national pair championships. He is a professional player and journalist as well: with Erci Rodwell he launched the popular online magazine NewInBridge (NIB).
