On the 16th of September 2015, the Italian Bridge Federation (FIGB) had announced that an investigation on Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes was going to start: “Like the EBL, we are opening a file on this and we follow the events as they unfold”.
Today the Italian Bridge Federation released an official statement: the Federation has asked the prosecutor to establish whether Fantoni and Nunes could be temporarily suspended, in light of the evidence collected so far.
Today the President’s Committee asked the Sports’ Judge whether Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes could be suspended, as a precaution, in light of the evidence recently emerged, according to the Sports’ Justice regulations.
The President’s committee is available to support the Prosecutor’s Office to help with the investigation.
