Reese Milner (Peg Kaplan - USBF)The American champion Reese Milner is coming to Italy to play the International Teams Tournament Città di Roma – Angelini, which will be held from 11th to 13th in Roma, at the Olympic Stadium. Milner started to play the international bridge only in late nineties, but soon recovered the time lost: he won the 2002 Spingold, the 2010 Philadelphia Transnational Senior Series, the Transnational Mixed Team 2012 at the World Bridge Games in Lille (with our Gabriella Olivieri). The Milner’s teammates for Roma will be Hemant Lall, Gigi Simpson,Tor-Erik Hoftaniska  from Norway, and Jack Mizel from England.

Hemant Lall won six times in American Bridge Championships, and a Grand National Team pairing up with his son Justin. Gigi Simpson was fifth at 2009’s European Open Championships of Sanremo. Tor-Erik Hoftaniska  won the 2013 Shapiro Spring Foursome and placed second at 2011 pairs SportAccord. Hoftaniska will play with the English Jack Mizel, who in 2006 and 2007 got the final of the Reisinger.

The Roman and Italian players welcome Reese, his teammates, and all the other friends who are coming in.
