A hearing due to be held today (September 24, 2015) by the Israeli Bridge Federation’s Special Ethics Committee (SEC) on violations by the partnership of Lotan Fisher and Ron Schwartz has been cancelled.
It will resume only when Fisher and Schwartz have had the opportunity to prepare and present their arguments.
Until such time the interim order suspending Fisher and Schwartz from playing in any events under the auspices of the Israeli Bridge Federation remains in place.
This decision is based on the strength of the prima facie evidence presented to the IBF.
The Israeli Federation stresses that this is not a final judgement on the players, who are of course entitled to a full and fair hearing.
