Michael Elinescu and Entscho Wladow appealed to the District Court of Colonia against the provisional suspension decided by the German bridge federation (DBV – Deutscher Bridge Verband), but their request has been rejected.
As Neapoletan Club reported in a previous article, on 7th of April, 2014 the DBV announced a provisional suspension of Elinescu and Wladow: the two German players cannot participate in national and international events – both individually and as a pair – until the outcome of the appeal against the WBF ruling.
