The Spingold Knockout Teams started with ninety teams. The number one ranked is Schwhartz team, title holder (defeated Monaco Team in 2014’s summer): Richard Schwartz, Allan Graves, Boye Brogeland, Espen Lindqvist, Huub Bertens, Daniel Korbel.
To remember: the lower the seeding, the stronger the team; also: the points earned by the victory or by good placing in NABC’s events are worth for the seeding in the trials for the Bermuda Bowl, but these points are diminished depending on the number of foreign players employed. Schwartz, for example, has two strangers: Boye Brogeland and Espen Lundquist, therefore it would lose a third of his points (if won).
The second seeded team is Nickell’s: Frank Nickell, Ralph Katz, Jeff Meckstroth, Eric Rodwell, Robert Levin, Steve Weinstein. No strangers here: this is USA1, the 2014’s winners of the USBF trial to the upcoming Bermuda Bowl.
Third comes Zimmermann, that is to say Monaco team, which lines up the world number one ranked pair, the Italians Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes: Pierre Zimmermann, Franck Multon, Fulvio Fantoni, Claudio Nunes, Tor Helness Geir Helgemo.
Other Italians are Lauria and Versace in #5 Cayne: James Cayne, Michael Seamon, Lotan Fisher, Ron Schwartz, Alfredo Versace, Lorenzo Lauria.
The number 9 is an Italian Team: Giorgio Duboin, Zia Mahmood, Norberto Bocchi, Agustin Madala, Alejandro Bianchedi, Massimiliano Di Franco.
Another Italian Team is #14 Romain Zaleski, with Benito Garozzo, Andrea Manno, Antonio Sementa, Bar Tarnovsky and Mustafà Cem Tokay.
Sheer American is the team #25 instead. They are USA2 for the Bermuda Bowl: Paul Fireman, Gavin Wolpert, John Kranyak, Vincent Demuy, John Hurd, Joel Wooldridge.
