The EBL (European Bridge League) announced that the 53rd European Teams Championships (National O/W/S Teams) will be held in Budapest (Hungary) from June 16 – 16, 2016.
The European Teams Championships act as the qualifier for the World Team Championships, whereby the top teams in the open,women and seniors categories qualify to represent Europe in the Bermuda Bowl, Venice Cup and Senior Bowl respectively.
The 2017 World Team Championships will be held in Lyon (France) from August 12 – 26, 2017.
