Francesco Angelini, the Italian super sponsor, has hired two of the worlds strongest pairs, Eric Rodwell-Jeff Meckstroth and Fulvio Fantoni-Claudio Nunes, to join his team at the World Championships Transnationals in Veldhoven next month. So far the Veldhoven official website does not reveal the registration of Team Angelini but reliable sources confirm the certainty of the participation of Meckwell and Fantunes in the team as 99 percent.
Consequently Fantoni and Nunes don’t play for Monaco Z in Veldhoven in spite of the fact that the Italians have chosen Monaco as domicile in an attempt to represent the dwarf state in upcoming international championships. At the Transnationals Pierre Zimmermann, the sponsor of Monaco Z, will field Tor Helness-Geir Helgemo, Cesary Balicky-Adam Zmudzinski and Pierre Zimmermann-Franck Multon.
