On the 3rd of August 2011, the Italian Bridge Federation (FIGB – Federazione Italiana Gioco Bridge) announced the Trials for the selection of the team that will participate in the 45th World 2021 Bridge Team Championships – Open Teams, Bermuda Bowl (Salsomaggiore Terme, 27 March – 9 April 2022).
The Trials will be played on the following dates:
First Phase or Single Phase: 16-19 September 2021
Second Phase: 14-17 October 2021.
A maximum of 8 teams will be admitted.
The Trials will be played at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Salsomaggiore Terme (Italy) and will consist of one or two Phases, depending on the number of participating teams.
The participation in the World Championship will in be subject to the approval of the WBF Credentials Committee.
