The 2014 Spingold Knockout Teams in Las Vegas will start tomorrow, Monday, July 21st. As usual, many Italian Stars will take part in the Spingold.
The team Lavazza is composed of Norberto Bocchi, Alejandro Bianchedi, Giorgio Duboin, Agustin Madala and Zia Mahmood. The Italian sponsor, Maria Teresa Lavazza, will not be in Las Vegas.
Lorenzo Lauria and Alfredo Versace play in the team Cayne with the French pair Thomas Bessis – Cédric Lorenzini.
Antonio Sementa plays with Mustafa Cem Tokay (Turkey) and Alex Smirnoff – Joe Piekarek from Germany (Team Assael)
Massimiliano Di Franco e Andrea Manno play with the Indian pair N.R. Kirubakara Moorthy- Uttam Gupta. Mr Kirubakara Moorthy is the curren President of Bridge federation of India.
Benito Garozzo, Dano De Falco and Gabriella Olivieri play in the Patricia Cayne’s team.
There is another Italian team composed of Giuseppe Failla – Dario Attanasio and Paolo Clair – Luca De Michelis. Mr Failla is Vice-President of the Itlian Bridge federation.
As usual, Claudio Nunes and Fulvio Fantoni play in the Pierre Zimmermann’s team (Monaco).
The full Spingold KO team rosters will be announced by ACBL tomorrow.
The 2014 Summer NABC (North American Bridge Championships) are underway in Las Vegas (Nevada, Usa) from July 17 to 27, 2014. The host hotel and playing site is the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
