16 squadre, 15 partite in Round Robin, le squadre A-J totalizzano 50 IMP, ma i loro punteggi VP sono diversi. Ecco i risultati ipotetici di 12 squadre, basati sulla scala VP di 16 mani.

Anche se le squadre hanno totalizzato lo stesso numero di IMP, i semi-finalisti sarebbero le squadre L, K, J, I. Non importa quanti IMP fai, ma come.

Quindi la squadra X, con 40 IMP, arriva terza, davanti a molte squadre che hanno totalizzato 50 IMP, ma in modo diverso. La squadra Y, con 35 IMP, arriva quarta davanti a molte squadre con 50 IMP.
