Montegrotto 2011 – scende in campo Zaleski

Venerdì  prossimo  a Montegrotto scenderà in campo la squadra di Romain Zaleski. Accanto alla giovane ma già titolata coppia D’Avossa-Intonti vedremo un’insolita terna: Zaleski si alternerà al tavolo con Valerio Giubilo e Apek Kowalski. La coppia Versace-Lauria, infatti, non partecipa al festival di Montegrotto poichè impegnata in questi giorni a Louisville (Kentucky) per i Campionati di Primavera in America (Spring 2011 North American Bridge Championships).

Dopo la vittoria della Reisingner Cup Lorenzo e Alfredo  concorrono per la conquista della Vanderbilt Cup con la squadra di Jimmy Cayne. Incontreranno altri campioni italiani a Louisville: i loro amici Norberto Bocchi e Guido Ferraro che, per l’occasione,  giocheranno per la squadra di George Jacobs.

Il torneo a squadre di Montegrotto costituirà intanto  un buon test di prova per la “nuova” coppia Zaleski-Kowalski che rivedremo in campo per la categoria seniores in Polonia in occasione del V Campionato Europeo di Poznan (Giugno 2011)

Tra due settimane la squadra Zaleski al completo si riunirà a Breno in Val Camonica (Brescia) dove sono previsti i festeggiamenti ufficiali per la vittoria della Coppa Italia, il primo trofeo vinto dalla nuova formazione lo scorso Dicembre.

Silvio Sbarigia

 

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
