Michael Kamil vince il prestigioso premio Sidney H. Lazard Jr Sportsman of the Year  2012. Il premio è stato istituito da Sidney Lazard in memoria del figlio, Sidney Jr., scomparso nel 1999, all’età di 41 anni,  dopo una lunga battaglia contro il cancro. Questo premio è riservato ai top-player che nel corso dell’anno si sono distinti per sportività, dimostrando di saper vincere con classe e dignità.

Prima di Kamil il premio è stato assegnato ai seguenti campioni:

2009 Peter Boyd

2008 Giorgio Duboin

2007 Seymon Deutsch

2006 Ralph Cohen

Giorgio Duboin è l’unico campione italiano ad aver vinto questo premio ed anche il primo giocatore non americano a potersi fregiare dell’ambito titolo di “Sportivo dell’anno” nel 2008.

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
