2011 Zhejiang Huamen Cup – 3rd China Elite Tournament

The third edition of the International Bridge China Tournament  – Zhejiang Huamen Cup is underway.  The event takes place in Beijing from 7 to 9 September 2011. There are  12 participating teams with  players from the United States, China, Italy, England, Netherlands, Taipei. Many of the top players in Europe and United States.  In the  team England/Italy play Claudio Nunes and Fulvio Fantoni, together with Jason and Justin Hackett. In the U.S. representative: Fred Gitelman, Brad Moss, Curtis Cheek, Joe Grue and Geoff Hampson.

The Netherlands team: Bas Drijver Sjoert Brink Bauke Muller Simon de Wijs and Anton Maas (coach).

After the first day the top team is The Netherland, followed by England/Italy and the United States.

The matches are broadcast on BBO.

Silvio Sbarigia


SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
