Vitas team won the Angelini Trophy: Vainikonis Vytautas, Wojtek Olanski, Lotan Fisher, Ron Schwartz, Boguslaw Gierulski and Jerzt Skrzypczak. They beat in the final match team Ventin: Frederic Wrang, Johan Upmark, Frederik Nystrom and Mustafa Cem Tokay, Juan Carlos Ventin.
In the play-off team K1 (Ivan Nanev, Rosen Gunev, Viktor Aronov, Diana Damianova ) defeated the Orange team Whitehouse Juniors (Meike Wortel, Gerbrand Hop, Joris Van Lankveld, Berend Van Den Bos ) by 18-15 IMPs and reached the third place.
The International Tournament Città di Roma – Angelini Trophy was held from 11-13 October, 2013 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, Italy.
The event was organized by Italian Bridge Federation (FIGB). Sponsor of the Tournament was the well-known Italian manager and bridge player Francesco Angelini.
88 teams took part in the tournament with famous players from all the world: indeed a successful event, and we wish to have a new edition next year.
