Vilnius 2011 – Open Pairs: Lauria & Versace on the podium

Vilnius Bridge Festival (Lithuania) Yesterday the open pairs tournament has been played. The winners are Helena Alfeeva and Maris Matisons (61, 96%) from Lithuania, runners up are Italian aces Lorenzo Lauria and Alfredo Versace (61,61%), third place for Polish stars Krzysztof  Jassem  and Krzysztof Martens (59,63%).

Thursday the event started with the Commercial Pairs: the tournament was won by Grzegorz Narkiewicz and Andrey Arlovich from Poland. Later that day the mixed pairs event took place. Here the winners were Ewa Sobolewska and Krzysztof Jassem, again from Poland.

Today at 10,30 (cet) the final of open teams tournament: don’t miss the event broadcast by BBO!

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
