Veldhoven 2011: Netherlands wins Bermuda Bowl

World Bridge Championship 2011, Veldhoven (The Netherlands) 15-29 October. The  home team wins the 40° World Bridge Championship and reaches  the most coveted trophy in the world: The Bermuda Bowl. Congratulations to all the protagonists of this prestigious success: Sjoert BRINK, Bas DRIJVER, Bauke MULLER, Ricco van PROOIJEN, Louk VERHEES JR, Simon de WIJS, Eric LAURANT (not playing captain) and Anton MAAS (coach).

 

The silver medal goes to “The Boys”, USA2.

Bronze goes to Italy who defetaed in the play-off USA1.

ISRAEL JUNIORS (Alon Birman, Lotan Fisher, Gal Gerstner, Moshe Meyuchas, Dror Padon, and Ron Schwartz)  won the Transnational Teams over OZ OPEN.
