John Diamond with his teammates, Brian Platnik, Eric Greco, Geoff Hampson, Kevin Bathurst and Justin Lall, won the 2016’s United States Bridge Championship and got the entry to World Bridge Games that will take place at Wroclaw, in Poland, from 3rd to 17th September 2016.
Diamond beat Fleisher 287-253: Marty Fleisher, Chip Martel, Ishmael Del’Monte, Chris Willenken, Joe Grue and Brad Moss.
After forty-five out of 120 boards Diamond led +74 but Fleisher never surrendered, winning four out of the remaining five segments and rescuing sixty-one IMPs, but it didn’t was enough.
