Jason and Justin Hackett, Mike Bell and Alex Hydes (UK2) won the Pakistan Day International Tournament in Karachi (Pakistan). Second place went tho another team from England, the “Barmy Army” of Brian Senior, Sandra Penfold, Ed Jones, and Tom Paske. Third came the Pakistani team Talpur with Nawab Mohammad Yousuf Talpur, Parvez Mirza, Rashidul Ghazi and Syed Hasan Jawad. Nawab Mohammad Yousuf Talpur is the President of Pakistani Bridge Federation (PBF).
There were many Pakistani teams from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, and some foreign team from England (2), China (2), Turkey and Jordan.
