leggi in italiano »

Phillip Alder writes a well-known column in The New York Times: Today’s article deals with the 2nd World Youth Bridge Congress  being played at Opatija in Croatia. According to the authoritative columnist, Italy is among the favorite teams to win along with the two United States teams, the Netherlands and Poland.

Italy has three teams in Croatia: Italy1  (Giuseppe Delle Cave, Massimiliano Di Franco, Giovanni Donati, Andrea Failla, Leonardo Fruscoloni, Giacomo Percario); Italy2 (Alessandro Gandoglia, Adriano Mancinelli, Giuseppe Pinto, Gabriele Zanasi ) and Italy Girls (Giorgia Botta, Caterina Burgio, Margherita Chavarria, Margherita Costa, Flavia Lanzuisi, Stefania Morina).

After the first two rounds Italy1  and Italy2  are in top positions: fingers crossed.
