The first EUSA and EBL online Championships

The 1st   EUSA (European University sports Association) and EBL  (European Bridge League) online championships will start on 1st October 2012 on BBO  (Bridge Base Online). It will be a competition between universities (not countries). The university teams may be composed of university students from different European universities, but should as a team represent one European university.

Teams can be entered from now on via e-mail to [email protected] with [email protected] in copy with the following information for each student:

 -      Name of the university you will represent;

-      And for each student in the team: the name, the date of birth, the nationality and the university at which he/she studies;

-      The captain of the team.

Participants may be university students attending a European University or students in the year before commencing their studies or up to one year after completing their studies.

Initially teams will play in different groups, and then go to a knock-out stage with quarter finals, semi finals and final. Both captains will have 1 month to schedule on BBO a match of the group round or the knock-out phase. The finals will be played under the local control of a director.

Prizes will be announced at the end of the event.
