The Spingold national bridge championship is is one of ACBL’s most highly prized team trophies. The Spingold Trophy was donated in 1934 by Nathan B. Spingold, who was the first ACBL’s President. It’s a Knock-out event included in the summer American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) North American Bridge Championship (NABC). The Summer 2012 NABC is held in Philadelphia June 12-22 at Philadelphia Marriott.
In the USA the Summer Nationals is a crucial moment in the busy American calendar because it’s the beginning of the new cycle and the main sponsors change their teams and renew contracts and line-ups. This year there will be many alterations.
