The 6th World University Bridge Championships were held from 9th – 15th July 2012 in Reims, France. 17 teams, from 14 countries and three continents took part in the event organized by FISU (International University Sports federation) and WBF (World Bridge Federation). The winner is Poland with Stanislaw Gołebiowski (coach), Piotr Zatorski, Kuba Wojcieszek, Paweł Jassem, Bartek Igła, Maciej Bielwski, Piotr Tuszyñski.
Silver went to the Czech Republic: Michal Kopecky, Lukas Barnet, Frantisek Kralik and Milan Macura.
Bronze went to Poland 2: Stanislaw Gołebiowski (coach), Piotr Nawrocki, Piotr Butryn, Natalia Sakowska, Jan Sikora.
Poland had already won the title twice: in 2004 and in 2010.
