The Fall 2013 North American Bridge Championships will take place in Phoenix (Arizona, US) from November 28 to December 8. The events will be played at the Sheraton Downtown and at the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix.
The most important tourney is the Reisinger BAM Teams. The Reisinger Memorial Trophy was so called in 1966, in memory of the bridge philanthropist Curt H. Reisinger (1891-1964, breweries owner).
It’s a Board-A-Match (BAM) event: Any board is worth one point, and the best result wins it; a zero result gives half point to each team.
In 2012 Zimmermann’s team won the Reisinger Trophy in San Francisco: Pierre Zimmermann, Frank Multon, Fulvio Fantoni, Tor Helness, Claudio Nunes, Geir Helgemo. The runners up were: Sabine Auken, Lew Stansby, Bart Bramley, and Roy Welland.
