The Polish Bridge Union (PBU) released the following:
The EBL Executive Committee issued a communication concerning the disqualification of Israel and Germany who won medals during the European Team Championships in 2014, held in Croatia. As a consequence, the Polish team had automatically obtained the third place. Due to the circumstances around the Polish team’s matches at these Championships, the Board of the Polish Bridge Union decided to give up bronze medal.
