Napoli leads in InterCity League – Spring 2011

leggi in italiano »

After four rounds, two of the three Italian Teams – Ascoli Piceno and Napoli – are leading their group. Ascoli Piceno looks strong as ever (83 VPs) but Nis (Slovenia), and Edinburgh are next: 80 and 79.

Behind Napoli (96 VPs: the top!) in Group C are Beograd – the winners of the very first edition in Spring 2004 – and the other three British teams: Manchester, Connacht (Irish won in Autumn 2006) and Wales United. This group is the strongest one.

The team Konstanz of Uschi Husten leads in Group B: they are stronger than in the past. Trailed are the Niksic young of Vesna Dacic (Montenegro), Zuzemberk (Slovenia), and Kosice (Slovacchia). Borgo Petilia, the third Italian team in InterCity League, still doesn’t find its pace.
