Monaco wins the 2012 European Open Championship

Neapolitan Club congratulates the Team of Monaco upon the victory. These are the champions (a transnational team): Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes (Italy); Geir Helgemo and Thor Helness (Norway); Franck Multon (France); Pierre Zimmermann (Switzerland); Jean Charles Allavena (Monaco, non playing captain); Krzysztof Martens (Poland, coach).

The Netherlands got to second place: Sjoert Brink, Bas Drijver, Bauke Muller, Ricco Van Prooijen, Louk Verhees, Jr Simon De Wijs, Eric Laurant (non playing captain). Third comes Italy: Lorenzo Lauria, Alfredo Versace, Giorgio Duboin, Antonio Sementa, Norberto Bocchi, Agustin Madala.

Fourth, fifth, and sixth, that is the other three teams that entered the 2013 Bermuda Bowl, are respectively England, Poland and Germany.

SILVIO SBARIGIA is a pharmacist; he was born in Rome and lives there. He has won the European championship in 1975 with legendary Blue Team, runner up at 1974’s and at Olympic games of 1976.  Sbarigia is member of Neapolitan Club Technical Commettee.
