Jim Krekorian and Venkatrao Koneru won the Nail Life Master Open Pairs in Providence. Second place went to Wael Mohsen and Reda Wasfi Yaacoub from Egypt; Jay Borker and Douglas Doub came third.
The partecipating pairs were 290: after the two qualifying sessions, 156 pairs reached the final stages.
This event is held at the Fall North American Bridge Championship and is restricted to players that have achieved a Life Master rating. It is named after Bobby Nail, a 1974 winner.
The 2014 Fall NABC (North American Bridge Championships) are undrway in Providence (Rhode Island, Usa) from November 27 to December 7, 2014.
